Grant Application

bullet

The Clintonville Community Fund has pledged $50,000 towards the City's ongoing project of renovating and expanding the Whetstone Recreation Center - the building to be renamed the Whetstone Community Center when it reopens in 2008.  In light of the size of the pledge, the CCF is not planning to be awarding additional grants during 2007 and 2008.

The Board of Directors of the Clintonville Community Fund, Inc. traditionally welcomes proposals for grant funding year-round - although the traditional annual award cycle occurs in the spring.

bullet

The Eighth Annual Awards:  Applications will be due by June 30, 2009.  An announcement of any grants approved by the Board will announced by August 10, 2009.

bullet

Applications:  The application should sufficiently describe (a) the project, (b) the intended community benefit of the project including identification of the intended constituent group(s), (c) the project time line, (d) the project's total budget and the role of the proposed grant within the total budget, (e) the persons and entities that will be involved in fulfilling the project, including the contact information for the project leaders, and (f) additional project support resources, including other funders and volunteer in-kind commitments or plans. The application should be accompanied by the applicant's IRS Determination Letter, the organization's most recent annual financial statement (IRS Form 990, third-party prepared audit, or the Treasurer's annual financial reconciliation and balance statement).  If the applicant is an unincorporated entity, the application should be accompanied by a request for the Fund to serve as fiscal agent to the project or with a letter outlining the fiscal agency arrangements that have been developed with another IRS 501(c)(3) charity organization, including their acceptance of the duties of the arrangements.
